How to Use the Studio Modes: #

1. Image Face Swap #

Transform your photos with our core face swap tool.

  • Free Users: Swap the largest face detected in the target image.

  • Paid Membership Users: Upload up to 4 source faces to swap into a target image with multiple faces. Source box 1 swaps with the leftmost face, Source box 2 with the imace next to that, Source box 3 and 4 and so on from left to right. Using the correct source face box will allow you to choose which face gets swapped in the target image.

  • Advanced Settings: Click the Advanced Image Settings button on the lower left to access a suite of professional tools. Click any feature below to learn more about it and what it does in the user guide:

2. Video Face Swap (Single & Multi-Face)💎 #

We have overhauled video swapping to give you total control.

  • Single-Face Swap:
    • Upload one Source Face.
    • (Optional) Upload a Reference Face—a specific photo of the person in the video you want to replace. If left blank, it swaps the largest face (AUTO mode).
      • Threshold Slider: If a reference face been selected a slider is present (0-100, default 58). Adjust this to tune the matching sensitivity. Lower it if a face is missed; raise it if the wrong person is being swapped.
  • Multi-Face Swap (Paid Feature):
    • Upload up to 4 Source Faces.
    • REQUIRED: For each source face, you must upload a corresponding Reference Face. This tells the AI exactly which person in the video to replace with which source.
      • Threshold Slider: Each reference face has a slider (0-100, default 58). Adjust this to tune the matching sensitivity. Lower it if a face is missed; raise it if the wrong person is being swapped.

3. GIF, Artify, and Xtreme Modes💎 #

  • GIF Face Swap: Animate your creations by swapping faces into GIFs.
  • Artify: Blend your face into an image that has a humanlike face with the style of a cartoon, Pixar-like, painting, or sketch. Note: The target image must already be in one of these styles.

Using the Picsi.Ai Face Swap Photoshop Plugin #

  2. Upload a Source Face: Click “Upload Source Face” and select the image you want to use as the face swap source.

  • The Process: We convert your photo into a mathematical "face-print" (facial signature) and link it to your chosen ID name.
  • The Result: The original image is discarded immediately. Your ID names are shortcuts to this data, ensuring your actual photos never reside on our servers.

1. Photo Preparation (Critical) #

Quality impacts realism. Follow these rules:

  • Lighting: Bright, even, front-facing light. No harsh shadows or backlighting.
  • Angle: Front-facing only. No side profiles or extreme angles. Tip: Slightly elevate your chin to capture structure.
  • Features: Remove glasses and pull back bangs/hair.
  • Quality: High-resolution, unedited photos only. No filters or heavy makeup.

2. Registering with /saveid #

Command: /saveid [name]

  1. Type /saveid followed by a space.
  2. Name your ID: Max 10 characters, letters and numbers only (no symbols/spaces/underscores). Use descriptive names (e.g., johnsmile, sarah1).
  3. Attach Photo: Upload your prepared photo in the Discord attachment menu that pops up after you type /saveid
  4. Submit: Press Enter. The bot will reply with a confirmation message.

Visual Confirmation (Updated Nov 13, 2024) #

Since November 13, 2024, the bot includes the saved photo in the confirmation reply.

  • Searchable Log: This creates a visual record in your Discord chat history on your private server where you did the /saveid
  • Reliability: Images are stored by Discord, not Picsi.Ai. Viewing them later depends on Discord’s data retention (links may break over time/years).

Finding Saved Faces #

  • To view saved source face names: Type /listid to see a text list of all saved source face names.
  • To view photos: Search your Discord chat history using Discord's built in search function where you originally performed the /saveidfor the ID name (e.g., "mysaveface").
    • Post-Nov 13 saves: Will show the confirmation image (if Discord retains the link).
    • Pre-Nov 13 saves: No visual confirmation exists

Registration Limits #

  • Free Members: Can save up to 20 source faces.
  • Paid Members: Can save up to 60 source faces

Important: Cross-Platform Constraints #

The Discord Bot and Modern Apps (Studio, iOS, macOS) do NOT sync source faces.

  • Why: Different architectures. The Bot uses cloud face-prints; Apps store photos locally on your device for privacy.
  • What Syncs: Subscriptions, Credits, and Premium Features.
  • Action Required: You must re-upload source photos locally when using the Apps/Web Studio.

Step 2: Apply Swap

  • Desktop: Right-click the target image → hover over Apps → select INSwapper.
  • Mobile: Long-press (tap and hold) the target image → tap Apps → select INSwapper.

Result: The bot swaps your active source face onto the target and posts the result in your server.

Why Use This: Lightning-fast once your active face is set. Perfect for batch processing multiple targets with the same source face.

Method 2: /swapid (Direct Control) #

Specify which saved source face to use for each swap without changing your active face.

Command: /swapid [facename]

  2. Press space again. Discord displays the file attachment mini-modal.

Free vs. Paid Member Behavior #

Free Members:

  • Media Types: Static images only. GIF and video face swapping requires a paid membership.
  • Multi-Face Images: When the target image contains multiple faces, the bot automatically swaps only the largest face detected. You cannot manually choose which face to swap. To pick which face is swapped, or to swap multiple faces, consider becoming a paid member which unlocks this powerful ability.

Paid Members (Basic, Pro, Ultra):

  • Media Types: Static images, GIFs, and videos.
  • Multi-Face Control: Full control over which faces to swap in multi-face images (up to 4 faces). GIFs and Videos will only face swap the single largest face in the GIF or Video.
